Filling Cavities May Be Unnecessary

A recent study from the University of Sydney found there might not actually be a need to fill cavities.  Researchers discovered that it takes 4 to 8 years for decay to spread from a tooth’s outer layer to the inner layer, so preventative care can be effective. The experts say tooth decay can be stopped, reduced and prevented before a dentist needs to step in with a drill.  (Photo credit: Getty)
